Food Network host and “Happy Cooking” author Giada De Laurentiis stopped by the Today show this morning to offer great recipes! She joined Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb to make a fabulous turkey, and she also stopped by to teach Savannah Guthrie amazing apple recipes (an apple walnut cake, and “apples in a savory way”) just in time for the holidays and Ultimate Thanksgiving month on the Today show.

To make the amazing apple walnut cake, Giada De Laurentiis stated that you’ll need all-purpose flour, green apples, pure maple syrup, large eggs, light brown sugar, vegetable oil, pure vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, fine sea salt, walnuts, confectioners sugar, heavy cream, cream cheese, water and a bundt pan.
