Sweet potatoes are a staple on every Thanksgiving Dinner table, they’re delicious and cost effective. With just a week to go until Turkey Day with the family, Food Network host Katie Lee stopped by the Today show this morning in honor of Ultimate Thanksgiving Month to show Matt Lauer how to cook sweet potato casserole and sweet potato pancakes.

To make the fabulous sweet potato casserole, Katie Lee mentioned that you’ll need sweet potatoes (of course!), milk, heavy cream, butter, dark brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, salt, pecans, flour, mini marshmallows.
