If there’s one food I absolutely love and could live on for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert if given the chance, it’s definitely pizza. Pizza has been my weakness my entire life and definitely my comfort food. If you’re hooked on pizza as well, but looking for a healthier alternative, you’re in luck. My favorite nutritionist, the one and only Joy Bauer stopped by the Today show this morning to share some healthy alternatives during her “What the Heck Are You Eating?” segment.
According to Joy Bauer, we Americans eat “350 slices of pizza per second.” I don’t blame us though, there’s nothing quite like pizza, especially one with America’s number one topping: pepperoni! Unfortunately, it’s not the healthiest for us as we well know, especially at a whopping “700 calories.”
