As someone who isn’t too fond of eggs, I’m always struggling to find a healthy and delicious breakfast on-the-go. Lucky for me, this morning on the Today show, Katie Quinn of the popular YouTube channel “qKatie” stopped by the famed morning program to show Matt Lauer (and all of us) how to make a healthy and delicious breakfast hack with just a banana, yogurt, a popsicle stick and some granola. She also shared a few other breakfast and lunch hacks that sound equally as amazing.
French toast is a brunch staple, but did you know that you can easily have it during the week? According to Katie, you can…and in your favorite mug! All you need are cubes of bread, milk, egg, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, a whisk, a bowl, and a microwave and you’re set.
I love apples, especially as a snack during the day. I never cut mine ahead of time because I don’t want it to brown, but for parents who send an apple in their kid’s lunch that can be a problem. Katie Quinn has a simple solution – a rubber band!
I love a fresh delicious salad as much as the the next person, but when I’m out and about, I always buy one on the run just to ensure it’s fresh and won’t get soggy. Lucky for me, Ms. Quinn shared the secret to packing a delicious fresh homemade salad with all your favorite ingredients in a mason jar.
Who doesn’t love delicious pizza? I know I sure do! Katie showed Matt how to make a “pepperoni pizza pocket” with a tortilla, marinara sauce, cheese, pepperoni, oregano and a microwave.
