When it comes to movies, I’ve always been a huge fan of the hilarious National Lampoon Vacation movies, especially when the beloved family visited Walley World (poor Aunt Edna), but my favorite movie of all time has to be “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, which was actually spent at home with family. Over the years I’ve been impatiently awaiting a new movie featuring my favorite family, and last year I was excited to learn that Clark “Sparky”, Ellen, Rusty and Audrey would be returning to the big screen, this time starring in “Vacation”.
“Vacation” opened in theaters across the country on July 29th! Have you had a chance to see it? Actor Ed Helms who is starring as Rusty Griswold, Clark and Ellen Griswold’s son in the film, joined Vanity Fair’s channel “The Scene” recently to discuss his most memorable vacations – from shutting off his cell phone to enjoy “nature’s rollercoaster” on the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon; to almost vomiting to death in Thailand courtesy of a bad food stand; a road trip to Vermont and a “wolf” Ed reveals his top 3 unforgettable getaways.
