When it comes to summertime fun, there’s nothing quite like sidewalk chalk for creating beautiful art on the sidewalk or your driveway, and you can’t forget about hopscotch, tic tac toe! Kids still do that, right? 😉 It’s no secret that I love Craft Corner on “The Chew” and today one of my favorite co-hosts and interviewees Ms. Daphne Oz showed parents (and kids at heart) how to make sidewalk chalk with plaster of Paris, tempera paint, toilet paper rolls, wax paper, duct tape and water (three parts plaster to one part water).
If you’d like to learn how to DIY the fabulous sidewalk chalk that Daphne Oz made during her craft corner segment on “The Chew” please watch the video below to watch her demonstrate how to make it properly.
