If there’s one thing I absolutely love about summer, it’s homegrown tomatoes from my garden. This year I decided to grow heirloom tomatoes for the first time, and I’m so glad I did…especially since restauranteur, Chopped judge and renowned celebrity chef Scott Conant made an amazing one-pot penne pasta with fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes and basil on the Today show this morning! Doesn’t that pasta dish sound delicious? I can’t wait to prepare it for dinner tonight.
During the Today show video segment below, chef Scott Conant showed Al Roker and Natalie Morales how to chop the heirloom tomatoes, asparagus, peas, zucchini, corn, prepare the pasta, add the oregano, olive oil, fresh mozzarella and goat cheese for his fabulous one-pot penne pasta with fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes and basil.
Video: Watch renowned chef Scott Conant show Al Roker, Natalie Morales (and all of us!) how to make his one-pot penne pasta with fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes and basil on the Today show on Monday, June 22nd.
