Are you having friends and family over for a Memorial Day backyard barbecue on Sunday or Monday, but aren’t sure what to serve? If so, you’re in luck! Earlier this morning on the “Today” show, Air Force veteran, Food Network (“The Kitchen”) co-host and “Sunny’s Kitchen” author, Sunny Anderson stopped by to show “Today” show co-hosts Erica Hill and Thomas Roberts how to make a fabulous pork glaze with the jam of your choice, and how to grill chicken and/or steak just in time for Memorial Day weekend.

Sunny dished that she marinates her chicken the day before in grapefruit juice, water, salt and pepper before grilling it for her guests. If you’ve ever wondered how to tell if your steak is rare, medium rare or well done, Sunny shared the secret to that too.
