Do you have an extra box of Girl Scout Caramel Delights, Samoas or Do-See-Dos cookies laying around the house? If so, you’ll definitely want to watch the video below! The Girl Scouts partnered with Taste of Home for the first annual Girl Scout Cookie contest! There were three finalists that joined “Today” show co-host Erica Hill this morning (one former Girl Scout and two current Girl Scouts and their parents) and they shared their phenomenal award winning desserts using Girl Scout cookies!!!
For the Do-See-Do recipe the former Girl Scout and her dad utilized the famed peanut butter Girl Scout cookies, melted chocolate chips, peanut oil and peanut butter.
The second Girl Scout made an amazing Chocolate Chantilly Coconut Pie that I can’t wait to try using Samoas. They also used a pre-made crust, cream cheese, chocolate pudding, coconut, and homemade whip cream.
The third Girl Scout and Pennsylvania native, made fabulous Delightful Caramel Bars using famed Girl Scout cookies, chocolate chips, crushed caramel delights, melted caramel, crushed shortbread.
