It’s no secret that we’re big fans of the Junk Gypsies! We love their show, their Junk Gypsy collection with PB Teen and they’ve inspired us to create a few DIY projects here and there. Amie and Jolie Sykes better known as the “Junk Gypsies” stopped by the Today show this morning to show Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb how to create a fab red, white and blue bar (DIY Beverage Center) using wooden pallets. They upcycled a galvanized bucket with red, white and blue stripes and made a cooler out of it, and it even doubles as a stool. They also made a shelf using an old Red Wagon, a clothing rack using a yard stick and how to make a shelf using old scrap metal – you can even spell your name if you’d like.

If you’ve ever wanted to cover something with fabric, but aren’t sure how, you’re in luck! Amie and Jolie Sykes, hosts of the Great American Country show “Junk Gypsies” convinced Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb to put their goggles on and cover a stool with fabric and a staple gun.
