I’ve grown fond of many shows over the years, but none of them hit home quite like NBC’s “Parenthood”. To say I was hooked from the first episode in 2010 is an understatement; finally there was a show on TV that understood some of the challenges my family and I had either faced or were facing.
The Bravermans showed what a family could be if they stuck together, didn’t give up, didn’t give in and worked out their problems, as we all wish our own family would or could. There weren’t many episodes that were not tear jerkers, and as someone who isn’t very fond of crying, when I look back, it amazes me that I looked forward to a show that brought me to tears nearly every single week.
I will miss watching the Braverman family on Thursday nights at 10 pm. and I will miss the endless petitions I signed, forwarded to my family, friends, and shared on social media to give my favorite show just one more chance every single year! It was never ending, but I like many of you, I loved that show that much.
Thank you Zeek, Camille, Adam, Sarah, Crosby, Julia and the extended Braverman family for six amazing seasons!
