Fashion: Classic L.L. Bean Duck Boots Are 2014 Version of The 2004 UGG Boots!

It seems like just yesterday we were all clamoring to get our hands on a new pair of Ugg boots. They had grown in popularity nearly overnight and those chestnut colored boots that I just had to have to wear with my Juicy Couture velour tracksuits (in turquoise, pink and in black), short skirts, next to my Von Dutch bowler bag, and over my favorite newly introduced True Religion denim skinny jeans were sold out until at least April or May of 2005. Believe it or not, that was 10 years ago! I’m not ashamed to admit that I wore my trusty Bailey Button Triplet Ugg boots this morning on this cold Sunday in Northern California, and I don’t see them leaving my closet anytime soon (some trends will never die).

I’m happy to announce that there’s a new “it” boot on the horizon, the L.L. Bean Duck Boots (also known as the the L.L. Bean Bean Boots). These lumberjack boots are the must have boot of winter 2014/2015! They aren’t necessarily new, the uber trendy rubber and leather boots have been around for over a century and are still made the same way they were in New England over 100 years ago. The L.L. Bean Duck Boots/Bean Boots are a fashion blogger, college student and all around fashionista’s DREAM.

Early this morning our friends at the “Today” show dished on the growing popularity surrounding the rubber and leather L.L. Bean Duck Boots/L.L. Bean Bean Boots that are still handcrafted in Maine and why they’re the hottest thing on the block for fashion bloggers, college students, and fashionistas alike. I should mention that most are sold out until March and April of 2015, hence why they’re a dream in every trendy gal’s wardrobe this season.

What do you think of the L.L. Bean Duck Boots/Bean Boots? I would love to get my hands on a pair! They’re perfect paired with leggings and skinny jeans (as seen in the “Today” show video below) .
