Nothing says the holidays quite like a beautiful festive wreath, especially one that you can show off and say that you made, yourself. Up until recently the only wreaths I had made involved fresh pine from the trees on my property, but thanks to Clinton Kelly, I’ve “branched out”. He recently showed us how to make a beautiful ribbon/tinsel wreath and yesterday on “The Chew” he dished on how to make a fabulous Very Merry Mantel: Festive Berry Wreath during our favorite Clinton’s Craft Corner segment. Don’t you just love berry wreaths for Christmas? Love!
If you’d like to make the Very Merry Mantel: Festive Berry Wreath that Clinton Kelly made on “The Chew” Clinton’s Craft Corner segment on Wednesday, December 10th, please watch the video below! Wouldn’t this be the most gorgeous wreath hanging on your front door or beautifully displayed on your Christmas inspired mantel?
Very Merry Mantel: Festive Berry Wreath materials
- Fake berries or
- Fake cranberries
- Hot glue gun
- Red paint or
- Red spray paint
- Exacto knife
- Floral wire
Video: Clinton Kelly instructs his co-hosts on how to cut out cardboard circles to create a wreath form, spray it red (or paint it red), and shows Daphne Oz how to glue the artificial berries on the wreath form. Once the wreath is complete (from the looks of the video, this festive DIY wreath project will take quite some time) Clinton dishes on how to attach the ribbon and the bow to the wreath.
That Clinton Kelly is quite the crafty man, I learn so much from him! I can’t wait to make his Very Merry Mantel: Festive Berry Wreath for the holidays. How about you?
