Video: Celebrate the Life of Joan Rivers with E!, Melissa Rivers and Giuliana Rancic on “Fashion Police”

Joan Rivers was a true legend. She was a hilarious comedienne, fantastic mother to daughter Melissa (grandmother to grandson Cooper) and brilliant fashionista who always said what was on her mind. We all have our opinions on the designer gowns our favorite celebrities wear on the award show red carpet,  but would we have the courage to say out loud how we really felt? For Joan Rivers, that was never a problem, she always said exactly what was on her mind, and brilliantly at that. For years Joan and her daughter Melissa interviewed celebrities on the red carpet and coined the phrase “who are you wearing?” Over the last four years Joan, Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos have co-hosted the hilarious weekly fashion show “Fashion Police” on E!.

Today, E! is celebrating the life of Joan Rivers with a 12 hour marathon of some of the star’s biggest moments caught on tape and a tribute to the late great comedienne with a 90-minute tribute special “Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan” at 8:00pm ET/PT.

“For the last four years this set has been home to the funniest, most outrageous voice in comedy. This chair was the place where a woman spoke the truth about celebrities and fashion, and did it in a way that was hilarious and absolutely 100% original. Tonight we want to say goodbye the only way my mom would want us to, by remembering the incredible jokes, the unbelievable guests and all the moments on set and behind the scenes that made “Fashion Police” must see television around the globe. So, for the next 90 minutes we’re going to do what my mom loved to do most, laugh.” Melissa Rivers paying tribute to her mother Joan Rivers on “Fashion Police”.
