We love mason jars around here! My mom and I use them all the time on our flower farm, and I’ve actually gotten pretty good at spray painting different designs on them. They’re quick and easy for flowers, for entertaining guests and various seasonal displays, especially for fall! But who knew you could make marquee lights with them? I’m amazed!

Today on the Today show Naturally magazine’s editor in chief Danny Seo dished on how you can make marquee lights with mason jars just by screwing holes and adding energy efficient LED lights. He also shared the secret to planting a succulent garden with mason jars. This is the perfect craft for the guy or gal who doesn’t have the best luck gardening as succulents don’t need much water, just the humidity from your shower will keep them alive.

Be sure to watch the video below to catch Danny make these crafts as well as some other fun ones using keys, maps, spoons, and how to make spray painted vases look old just with steel wool.
