Actor Antonio Sabato, Jr. is having one of the busiest Septembers to remember! He’s hosting a home improvement show called “Fix It & Finish It” where he makes homeowners dreams come true and will be dancing on the 19th season of Dancing With The Stars, premiering on Monday. He’s partnered with Cheryl Burke, and they’ll be dancing the Cha Cha as their first dance.
I recently had the chance to participate in a conference call with Antonio Sabato, Jr., as well as various media personalities across the nation. Antonio dished on what it’s like renovating homes across the country for his new show “Fix It & Finish It” which premiered earlier this month and having Cheryl Burke teach him how to dance on “Dancing With The Stars”. Antonio mentioned during the call that he loves a good challenge and that he likes to push himself. As someone who can relate to pushing herself to the limit, I had to ask him the question I was dying to know the answer to and that was – What will it take to go far in the competition or win “Dancing With The Stars”?
Antonio Sabato, Jr. stated “You just got to keep working hard, keep listening to Cheryl, and keep working and watching the videos of ourselves rehearsing and staying healthy and smile and have a good time. You can take the competition seriously, but at some point, you really have to – the journey of it – just have the fun. I want to keep having that. I want to keep smiling and enjoying it whether I’m there for one dance or the whole thing or whatever it may be. This is about me having a good time and me and Cheryl having a great time and the fans enjoying it and then it’s up to the fans to vote. So I really want to take it in and take the journey since it’s been a long time coming and now I’m finally here.”
Best of luck to Antonio Sabato, Jr. on “Dancing With The Stars” and of course his new show “Fix It & Finish It”! I can’t wait to catch up with him this season, and wish him well in his endeavors.
