I’ve always loved nail art! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried creating chevron print, polkadots or flowers with regular nail polish with no luck. It doesn’t help that I bite my nails, so I don’t really have much of a canvas to work with. Hot Designs recently approached me about reviewing their nail art pens, and as someone who loves the look of pretty nails, I jumped at the chance! I invited one of my friends over today and we spent a couple hours working on our nails. It was so much fun! I followed the instructions and created some flowers on my toes, created orange and black animal print nails because leopard print is hot for fall, and because I love my San Francisco Giants! Since I love flowers, I made some “zinnias” with my Hot Designs nail art pens.
My first nail art design was this “leopard print”. I used my favorite nail polish as a base coat, and then applied orange and black in honor of my San Francisco Giants and my love of this fall’s hottest trend!
I then painted my nails pink, added white spots and then outlined them in various colors to create a fun abstract pattern! It was fun playing with the Hot Designs nail art pens!
I then painted my nails green, added a pink dot and yellow dots around it to create a big flower! Love my fun nails and my pretty hydrangea!
The Hot Designs nail art pens are really fun and easy to use. I look forward to practicing more with the pens and making more intricate designs.
My friend Kendra got in on the action and created these fun silver and purple nails!
