“Twilight” star Ashley Greene stopped by the “Today” show today to chat with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb about her new comedic film, “Wish I Was Here” directed by Zac Braff ! Ms. Ashley mentioned how fun it was working with Zach Braff – “He’s so talented and very fantastic to work with as a director and as a fellow actor, he gets what we go through emotionally and how scary it is. He creates this warm environment and it was really fun to work with him. We’ve been trying to do it for years.”
According to Ashley Greene, Zach Braff started a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to create the film. His fans came through, he raised enough money within 48 hours!
“Wish I Was Here” (which also stars Kate Hudson, Zach Braff, the late James Avery, Jim Parsons, and Donald Faison to name a few) opens in select theaters across the country on Friday, July 18th.
