On Monday July 28th, natural lifestyle expert Sophie Uliano shared her recipe for bath jelly on Hallmark’s “Home & Family”. Did you happen to catch the segment? I did, and it just looked like such a fun DIY project that you can complete the same day (I’m a little on the impatient side). The bath jelly would make a lovely gift for a friend or for yourself! The best part is it doesn’t contain harsh chemicals, has safe color dye, you can add any of your favorite essential oils to it and mold it in your favorite shape.
1 and ½ cups water
4 packs gelatin
1 cup liquid castille soap
A couple of drops of safe soap dye
30 drops of essential oil
1. Pour ¾ cup of cold water into a bowl.
2. Sprinkle in gelatin and whisk.
3. Pour over ¾ cup of boiling water.
4. Add soap.
5. Add dye and essential oil.
6. Finally, pour into mold and leave to set for 4 hours in the fridge.
