DIY: Learn To Make FIVE Junk Gypsies Trash to Treasure DIY Projects for Summer! PS I Love the Mason Jar Light!

Love the hot pink and lime green antique car my mom and I spray painted last summer, which was inspired by our favorite DIYers, the Junk Gypsies!

I have been one of the biggest Junk Gypsies fans for years upon years now! I remember searching high and low when Miranda Lambert shot her first music video wearing the Merle Haggard inspired “Mama Tried” shirt and had to have it! Not only are they super trendy, but they are such talented DIYers (love their show on GAC) and actually inspired my mom and I to take on our first spray paint project last summer, a vintage car which we spray painted hot pink and lime green. It’s adorable and so fun! Well, my favorite junk gypsies Amie and Jolie Sikes were on the Today show this morning chatting about some of the top five ways you can turn trash into treasure! Be sure to check out the adorable shadowbox they made with items from the flea market, how to make a light out of a mason jar – so trendy and Southern chic, how to make a radio with old speakers and a vintage suitcase, a coffee table out of an old trunk, and succulents in wine corks! So many great ideas, I know I’ll be working on the shadow boxes asap! How about you?

My mom and I bought the green Mason jars for flowers this spring and they’re so fun! I think I actually like them more than the blue. They’d look gorgeous as a light!
