Bacon is a staple in my home. In my opinion, the more bacon the better! And one of my absolute favorite sandwiches has to be the BLT (bacon lettuce and tomato)!!! Yum. And with summer nearly officially here and fresh vegetables at the farmers market or in your garden, now is the perfect time to make a delicious BLT. “The Chew” chef Mario Batali dished on his farmers market BLT recipe with honey aioli, almonds, fried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes and pickles…which chef Mario proceeded to call a “carb fest”. We all need a carb fest don’t we? Especially after a long hard week.
