Recipe: Learn How To Make “The Chew” Chef Carla Hall’s Chocolate Root Beer Pound Cake!

I do my best to stay away from soda, but there’s one particular flavor that I can’t quit and that’s root beer. It was my favorite growing up and I actually worked at one of the original A&W’s the summer I turned 16 where we made fresh root beer on a daily basis. If you love root beer, but you’ve never experienced a root beer snow cone, root beer freeze or a root beer float (with homemade vanilla ice cream), you’re really missing out and must try them asap. There’s one thing I’d never thought to mix with root beer and that’s chocolate. As much as I love chocolate, and that’s never crossed my mind? I should be ashamed of myself! 😉 Well, according to one of my favorite chefs on the planet, Carla Hall of “The Chew” her chocolate root beer pound cake is out of this world delicious. She shared her recipe for the scrumptious cake on the Friday, June 20th episode of “The Chew”.
