Did you know that “girls who see their dad doing dishes, laundry and other chores are more likely to become lawyers, CEOS and other high paying professionals?” With Father’s Day quickly approaching, Super Bowl MVP/New Orleans Saints star quarterback Drew Brees and his wife Brittany (parents of three boys and a daughter due in August) have some advice for moms and dads on how to raise ambitious kids who believe in teamwork. He spoke with NBC’s Tamron Hall recently where he discussed that he and his three sons who are ages five, three and one, huddle up “as if they were on the field or something and start throwing out responsibilities.” Everyone is assigned a chore, from the oldest son to the youngest and mom and dad too.
The great dad and star quarterback is also a philanthropist, he recently donated $20 million dollars for cancer patients. He believes giving back is part of his responsibility to give others the opportunities that he had when he was younger.
