Recipe: How to Make Debi Mazar and Gabriiele Corcos “Breakfast Pizza” Seen on “The Chew”

I envy those who enjoy eating pancakes, waffles and cereal as meals or snacks. Unfortunately I’ve never been much of a breakfast person, and always secretly wished that pizza would officially become a breakfast staple, so I could eat it in the wee hours of the morning. Who am I kidding, I could eat it all day! Fortunately for me (and those who love pizza for breakfast) Debi Mazar and Gabriiele Corcos have granted us our every breakfast wish! They were on “The Chew” on Friday, May 30th to dish on their new book (Extra Virgin : Recipes & Love from Our Tuscan Kitchen”and the secret to how you can make their delicious breakfast pizza which they topped with pancetta. Yum!

Breakfast pizza ingredients: 

  • Canned whole peel tomatoes
  • Kosher salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Pancetta
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Eggs
  • Basil leaves
  • Active dry yeast
  • Lukewarm water
  • Bread flour
  • Salt
  • All purpose flour
