Images: Prince Harry Launches Invictus Games to Inspire Wounded and Injured Servicemen

Lady Di’s sons Prince Harry and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge have always made it a point to give back to those less fortunate. In 2013, Prince Harry attended the Warrior Games in Colorado (“The Warrior Games serve as an introduction to Paralympic sports for injured service members by inspiring recovery, physical fitness, and promoting new opportunities for growth and achievement”) Facebook.com/Warrior Games, and was so inspired by the heroic servicemen at the games that he has launched the Invictus Games for “wounded, inured and sick service personnel” (Getty). He met with the media today at the Copper Box Arena in the Olympic Park in London to discuss the first annual event that will take place on September 10, 2014.
