Director Tom Berninger (L) and singer/songwriter Matt Berninge:

We’ve always been huge fans of The National at Candace Rose. In 2012 I had the pleasure of interviewing the band, along with the legendary Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead in honor of “The Bridge” live concert they were performing at Weir’s TRI Studios in Northern California. A few weeks ago The National performed on Saturday Night Live, and tonight the American indie rock band celebrated the Los Angeles Screening Of “Mistaken For Strangers”, a documentary of the time  director “Tom Berninger spent on the road as a member of the tour crew for The National, the rock & roll band fronted by his brother, Matt.” (IMDB)
