NASCAR Cup Champion Jeff Gordon at “Speeding to Read” Event in Texas

NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon and Dr. Seuss character “The Cat In the Hat” arrived at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas for the “Speeding to Read” event via a motorcycle with side car. The duo greeted kids from the track, and Gordon had the honor of crowning individual, classroom and school reading champions from Clara Love, Hatfield and Justin elementary schools!

Hatfield Elementary kindergartener, Chloe Brown whose cancer has been in remission for 1 1/2 years read a Dr. Seuss classic with Jeff Gordon to the crowd of 1,500 people to close out the event.
