San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker has made a name for himself on the court by leading his team to three NBA championships in 2003, 2005 and 2007; and is now making a name for himself off the court in the fashion world.
The French basketball star whose mother was a Dutch model and led him on the catwalk “at the age of four or five years old”, is his fashion inspiration. When asked about his mother, the self proclaimed casual chic star stated “I try to represent her well because I’m in her world. I try to make her proud.” When it comes to designers, Tony looks up to the late Alexander McQueen because he’s a “big fan of the skulls…the whole whole brand and the whole vision.”
Tony has been putting his impeccable fashion sense to good use by working with the Swiss watch brand Tissot since 2011. The brand launched the PRS 330 Tony Parker Limited Edition watch in September of 2012, and Parker is working with them to launch the PRC 200 Collection.
Parker can be seen on the cover of Maxim magazine in March where he chats about life, fashion and his new watch collection.
