We all have one article of clothing we can’t bear to part with, and for me it’s my beloved Juicy Couture parka. You know the one, black with a faux fur hood that everyone seemed to have in 2005? That parka got me through college, cold winter nights out with friends, shopping excursions, outdoor concerts, walking the dogs, and even late night visits to the hospital with my grandma. It was stylish and kept me warm….what’s not to love? Unfortunately after an ill-fated visit to the dry cleaner, it bit the dust; slit up the back, holes in the sleeves. I don’t know if I was more distraught at what the dry cleaner had done to beloved coat or that I’d actually have to bid my favorite parka adieu and search for a new one. They just don’t make ‘em like they used to!
It’s been a struggle to find a coat I’d love as much. Many of the parkas I’ve found are much too long for my petite frame or bulkier than I’d ever want to wear! Well, I’ve scoured the net for a few of my favorite parkas, hope you love them as much as I do! Happy shopping!!!
