Fergie, LA Clippers forward Lamar Odom, The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney, Fox’s Terry Bradshaw, and acclaimed actor Kurt Russell are just a few celebrities on hand at an exclusive event on Friday, November 30th to celebrate Walgreen’s new flagship store in Los Angeles.
Project Runway’s Tim Gunn, who hosted the star studded event, stated “This is a flagship beyond all flagships; I can’t get over it. I came here with high expectations because I’ve been prepped for what would be here. I was totally blown away, and I still am. Every time I make a circle of the store I discover more things. It’s really phenomenal.” Lamar Odom mentioned the reason he attended the event was “I wanted to check out the coolest Walgreens in the world. I’ve never seen anything like this.”
The one-of-a-kind drugstore which “The Blind Side” actor Quinton Aaron described as “Walgreens on steroids”, features a fresh sushi bar, froyo, a smoothie bar, and enhanced product assortment (to name a few); and was specifically tailored to the community of Los Angeles.
