Brad not only dished on the hottest celebrity style trends, but the hottest red carpet looks that can be adapted to everyday life, the secret to getting a bright white smile and what viewers can expect on season 2 of his hit reality show It’s A Brad, Brad World.
Candace Rose: You’re the red carpet co-host at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 18th. Can you tell us about the hottest celebrity style trends this award season?
Brad Goreski: “Sure, Candace. It’s good to speak with you. One of my favorite trends from the runways this season is metallics and glitter this year. There was this return to opulence this season. We’re going to be seeing a lot of that on the red carpet this weekend. So whether it’s a gold lame gown; a sequined shoe; a jeweled clutch, I think we’re going to see a lot of razzle dazzle and a lot of sparkle which is one of my favorite trends.
And I think especially considering the time of year, it’s the holiday season, it’s a trend that people can very easily adapt into their own wardrobe.”
Candace Rose: Are there any other red carpet do’s that can be adapted to everyday life?
Brad Goreski: “Well, one of the other things we’re seeing is (in street style and also on the carpet) there have been a lot of prints, and one of the most popular prints has been the floral print. We’re seeing it on evening gowns, on dresses, and I think one of the most popular ways to wear a floral print right now is on denim. So floral denim is a really huge trend. Wearing it with a cute sweatshirt, with a pair of heels and you’ve got a really great outfit to go either out to dinner with your girlfriends or just for a little afternoon of shopping.”
Candace Rose: What are some of the don’ts?
Brad Goreski: “One of my big ideas of dressing is I think we’ve lost the element of playing dress up every single day. When we were kids we used to play different characters, and I encourage people every single day to not get stuck in one style and to play with all different types of styles and different trends. Allow yourself to fail because that’s where you’re going to learn where your style personality really lies.”

Candace Rose: When it comes to beauty, which celebs have the most beautiful smiles in entertainment?
Brad Goreski: “For me, I think there are so many gorgeous women out there, and I think having a beautiful, bright white smile is the best accessory to have. It’s the holiday season, it’s time to flash that smile at everybody when you’re out shopping and out at holiday parties. And for me the best way to do that is with Colgate Optic White. It’s three simple pieces: it’s the toothbrush, the toothpaste and the mouth rinse. Just incorporate that into your daily routine and within five days you’ll see brighter, whiter teeth.
So get started now, and in time for Thanksgiving you’ll have a beautiful smile.”

Brad Goreski: “Absolutely. It’s very inexpensive, it’s very easy to incorporate into your daily routine as it is. And for more information you can go to ColgateOpticWhite.com or you can go to their Twitter which is @OpticWhite.”
Candace Rose: Your show It’s A Brad, Brad World was recently renewed for a second season. Congratulations! What can viewers expect this upcoming season?
Brad Goreski: “Well, we’re almost finished filming season two, and there are so many great things happening. We have incredible celebrity guests, we go all over the world. I have a totally different business than last year. We’re incredibly busy. I have new assistants, and Lindsay’s still back from last year. We’re having a lot of fun, there’s a lot of drama and tons and tons of fashion. I think my fans and the viewers are really going to enjoy it this year.”
