With the presidential election a little over a month away (November 6th) celebrities like WILL.I.AM from the Black Eyed Peas, rappers Nas and Trey Song, celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, comedian Larry David, actress Renee Zellweger, and actor Steve Carrell have teamed up with the non-partisan, non-profit organization Our Time which stands up for the rights of America’s youth. Their mission is “to combine the voting and purchasing power of young Americans so that politicians and businesses represent our needs better”. The celebrities joined the organization to film PSA’s urging today’s youth to step up to the plate and vote in this coming election. In WILL.I.AM’s PSA he urges young Americans to vote because “you have the whole world depending on you not to vote”, and states “Be as loud as rock and roll.
