The hottest stars of Hollywood, Nashville and New York are teaming up for the new MDA Show of Strength annual Labor Day telethon. The new telethon is a three-hour, prime-time broadcast special to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which supports research and gives support to more than a million Americans affected by neuromuscular diseases including muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases, and also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education. The telethon which is executively produced by by RAC Clark, the longtime executive producer of the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards and the son of the late Dick Clark.
