"Modern Family" star, Emmy award winner and dog owner/lover Eric Stonestreet aka "Cam" celebrated the unveiling of the Alabaster Dream Dog Park on Thursday, July 12th and kicked off the 3rd annual Dream Dog Park contest which will award $500K for a dog park renovation, $10,000 to the winner and a one year supply of Beneful brand dog food.
The Alabaster Dream Dog Park was inspired by local resident, Jenny Wilson, winner of the 2011 Beneful Dream Dog Park contest. The park which took nearly a year to renovate was managed by Jason Cameron, licensed contractor and host of DIY Network's "Desperate Landscapes", and was overseen by Pet expert, Arden Moore.
Hundreds of dogs and their masters were on hand to celebrate the completion and restoration of the Alabaster Dream Dog Park last Thursday where they enjoyed custom-designed water splash pads; a fetch football field with fire hydrant goal posts, a hill to climb and adventure path to explore; a doggie wash station and much more.
