Welcome back NBC "Fashion Star" fans! For those who are new to my recaps, welcome; please scroll down to the bottom of the post for links to my previous posts. On last night's episode the remaining designers completed the week's challenge of of working in pairs to create a a window display with live models. With the help of fashion mentors- Jessica Simpson, John Varvatos and Nicole Richie, the top five designers of the week: Sarah Parrott, Ronnie Escalante, Luciana Scarabello, Ross Bennett and Nikki Poulos sold their beautiful garments to three of the nation's top department stores.
Ronnie Escalante received his first purchase of the competition from Macy's buyer, Caprice Willard and Ross Bennett whose cuffed satin shorts were purchased by Macy's in episode 3, was invested once again by the famed buyer.

Self-taught designer Sarah Parrott was bought for the fifth consecutive week by H&M buyer Nicole Christie; and beachwear designer Nikki Poulos was also bought by H&M for the second week in a row. @hmusa
