Candace Rose: What are the must have trends for fashion and beauty this summer?

Jeannine Morris: "Well, first I have to tell you about these really cool shoes that I found by Sanuk. They're great for summer, for guys and girls. These are their (shown below) sidewalk surfers and why they're so cool for summer is because the top looks like a shoe and is made out of canvas, so they're super lightweight but the bottom is made like a sandal, kind of like a flip flop. they bend and flex with our feet, so they're great for running around the beach; or the boardwalk; or even for vacation. They're super lightweight and they're really affordable. You can find them at Sanuk.com.

And then for hair trends, we don't want to fuss with our hair but we all want those pretty tousled beach waves. It's a great look to take you from day to night in the summer and Wella Professionals has an Ocean Spritz that can easily help you achieve the look. All you have to do is spritz it onto dry hair, scrunch your hair up a little bit and viola you're done and you're set for the summer. But also with our hair, we spend some time and money on getting our hair colored and even if you don't get your hair professionally colored, the suns UV rays can really take a toll on it and strip the color, so to protect our hair color, Wella Professionals has a Stay Brilliant colour protecting lotion that you can use every single day to protect your hair color from fading and make it look even more vibrant than it already did. I highly recommend using something to protect your hair color from the sun and you find more information about those at Wella.com.

You know how in the summer, you're wearing sundresses and bathing suits and you want your skin to look fresh and moisturized because that is the key to looking good no matter what you're wearing? Recently Olay came out with a new body collection that's actually half the price of the leading specialty store, so it's super affordable but it also gets the job done. It cleanses and it moisturizes your skin to keep it looking great all summer long. It has moisturizing body washes, lotions and a massaging body bar, which is actually the first of its kind. It's my favorite in the line, but they all smell intoxicating. My shower smells like a spa as soon as I walk into it but the range is from $4 – $8, so it's really affordable for good skin, which is crucial.

I have another drugstore buy which is great for the whole entire family and I think everybody should have it in their beach bag – it's Visine's Summer Spectrum Relief. You know how you're out in the sun or maybe you're swimming in the chlorine; or salt water; or the wind can even irritate your eyes? Well, this Visine product is actually targeted to all those summer elements, so it has a trio of lubricants for redness relief. It actually gets rid of everything within seconds of using it, so you don't have to worry about being irritated while you're trying to have a good day at the beach, and it's good and safe for the whole family. It's good and safe for the whole family, so you can just have it on you in case anybody needs it and then you don't have to worry about being irritated while you're trying to have a good day.

And of course my biggest tip would be to make sure you are using an SPF of 30 or higher with UVA and UVB protection."
