We all know I love to shop, but you could never know how much I despise bra shopping! No matter where I go, no matter where I look, I am always left frustrated, uneasy and ready to look elsewhere. People may think the smaller you are, the easier it is, but that isn't the case. For many of us petite girls, bra shopping can be more of a headache than a fun experience. Finding the right bra for t-shirts is my least favorite. For the most part companies/designers think that small girls only desire large breasts, (most of the time I do) but when I'm looking to wear a light colored top and my only option is a heavily padded bra, I end up looking phony, unnatural, and ridiculous.
I recently heard about Lula Lu Petites which specializes in you guessed it, bras for smaller busted ladies. Designer, Ellen Shing was growing tired of hopelessly searching for the perfect bra that actually fit her petite sized frame when she started doing research and found she was not the only one struggling to find a properly fitting bra. Shing stated "I could empathize with my friends who were small busted and knew there had to be something better. Women were tired of bras caving in, gapping and puckering. These are women who don't want augmentation and are happy with their size. They're just unhappy they can't find anything to fit them."
Ellen has answered the prayers of many, by carrying bra sizes ranging from 30 AA to 38 A, and many fashionable and flattering styles of lingerie. "The collection is also the first in the United States to carry the AAA cup starting at sizes 32 AAA – 36 AAA. Lula can be found online at www.lulalu.com as well as Shing's boutique in San Mateo:
